For labels

Get demos from producers
who fit your sound.

UNSIGNED is where independent producers find the labels that fit their track. They upload a finished record, the Analyser reads the genre, energy, groove, mood and tempo straight off the audio, and it ranks the labels whose catalogue the track sits inside. Being listed puts you in that ranking.

You are not opening another inbox. You are telling a matching engine exactly what you sign, so the records that reach you are the ones worth your time.

How the matching works

Two sides, matched
on sound.

From the track

Read off the audio

Genre, energy, groove, mood and BPM, read straight from the audio file. So a track reaches you on how it sounds, not on how the producer labelled it.

From your listing

What we hold on you

Your genres, your five key tags, the tempo range you release in and the catalogue we have listened to. The more exact that is, the narrower the set of tracks that can reach you.

The result

A fit score, not a mailing list

Each producer sees a ranked shortlist with a percentage against each label. You appear when the sound genuinely lines up, and you do not appear when it does not.

Why the detail matters

Your tags are the filter.

A label tagged only techno sits in a pool with every other techno label, and gets sent everything in it. A label tagged techno, stripped back, hypnotic, dubby, raw only surfaces when a track genuinely sounds like that.

Same database, completely different inbox. The five key tags you give us do more work than anything else on your listing, which is why we ask for them rather than guessing from your discography. Tell us what you would turn down and you will stop being sent it.

How it works

What being listed
actually involves.

Step 01

You send the email

The seven things at the bottom of this page, in one email. There is no form and no account to create. It takes about five minutes.

Step 02

We review it, listen and decide

We read what you have sent and listen to your catalogue. If we list you, you go into the database exactly as you have tagged it: your genres, your five key tags, the tempo range you release in, and the one route you chose.

Step 03

If the fit is real, they pitch to you

From their own inbox, in their own words, with a note written around your label and their track. Your route is only shown to producers on a paid plan who have matched with you.

The small print, up front

What we don't do.

Email

We never email you

Not once. Being listed does not put you on a mailing list.

Sending

We don't send on anyone's behalf

Every pitch comes from the producer's own address. No bulk sending, no automation, nothing from us sitting in the middle.

Your route

Your route isn't public

It's shown to a producer on a paid plan whose track has been matched to your sound. It isn't published, sold or scraped.

Leaving

You can come off any time

One email and you're removed, no questions.

Worth knowing

We check every label.

Not everyone who asks gets listed. We look at what you've actually released and whether you're still active. A list anyone can add themselves to is worth nothing to the producers using it, and it would mean you getting demos from people who found a directory rather than a match.

Cost

It's free.

Listing costs nothing and stays that way. Producers pay for the tool. Labels don't pay to receive demos.

Get listed

Seven things, and
what each one does.

This is everything we match on. Spend five minutes on it and the demos you get will look very different to what lands in your inbox now.

  1. 01Label name, as you want it to appearHow producers see you once they have matched.
  2. 02A short bioe.g. Berlin label running since 2016, vinyl first, two or three releases a year.Shown on your row before a producer pays to see who you are. It is the first thing that makes them choose you.
  3. 03The genres you put out, including the ones you only dip intoe.g. Minimal, Deep Tech, Micro HouseSets the pool you appear in. Leave one off and you never see those tracks.
  4. 04Five key tags for the sounde.g. stripped back, hypnotic, raw, dubby, peak-timeThe sharpest filter you have. This is what separates you from every other label tagged with the same genre.
  5. 05One link: Instagram, your website or SoundCloudWe listen to your catalogue before we list you, and it is where a producer goes to check you out before pitching.
  6. 06How demos should reach youe.g. email, a form on your site, Trackstack, LabelRadarThe only route we ever give out. Change it whenever you like.
  7. 07The tempo range you release ine.g. 126 to 132Narrows it again after the tags. A track outside your range is one you would not have signed anyway.
